What’s on My Christmas List This Year :“ Part One

I can honestly say that the vast majority of my free time is spent working on the house. It’s exactly not that I’m being forced to do it or anything, but I genuinely enjoy home improvement, whether it is construction, remodeling, decorating, or anything else do-it-yourself. Home improvement is my favorite hobby and my passion.
I guess it goes without saying that my Christmas list is chock full of gadgets and tools to make my ongoing hobby not only possible but more fun too (not that I expect to actually get them all or anything). Here’s a sneak peak at a few of the items on my Christmas wish list this year.
Bucket Tool Organizer - I’ve wanted one of these since the very first time I ever saw one, but I still haven’t gotten around to getting one yet. After all, the 5 gallon bucket is the perfect means to tote everything around and I have bunches of buckets just begging for use. I just need the way to keep it all organized. It’s no wonder these things are so popular!
Gutter Cleaning Robot - My wife and I already have a pair of iRobot Roomba robotic vacuum cleaners and we are in consensus that we couldn’t live with out them - they just make keeping the house clean so easy. Understandably, as soon as I first laid my eyes on their Looj gutter cleaning robot from iRobot, I immediately had to have it. We have a ton of trees around our home and the gutters are always full of gunk. I know this little robot friend won’t have any trouble keeping them clean.
A Better Work Light - Working on a project with poor lighting or without the lighting illuminating the places you need it to is probably one of the most frustrating aspects of home improvement. I’ve managed to get by over all these years with a retractable cord single filament bulb style work light that’s probably older than I am, but it’s just not ideal by any means. I have my eye on this Wobblelight - looks pretty brilliant and convenient at the same time. That’s precisely why it made my wish list.
That’s it for part one of a home improvement fanatic’s Christmas wish list. More to come soon:

The bucket tool organizer is so handy around the house
As a photographer, I love the idea of the Wobblelight. I don’t always want to work on photos at the desk, and love the idea of being able to tote a light to the location of my project.
Thanks, Lou
