Even if they aren’t always right, those little quizzes we pretend to hate but take anyway give us little hints about what might be hidden in the back of our minds motivating our choices. 1. This simple style quiz from HGTV is one definitely worth the short time it takes to answer the questions. It’s not so much the questions I like, but the answers with links to more examples and articles that tell you more about your preferred style.
2. Pratt & Lambert has two quizzes on their site– one for the interior and one for outdoor style. These quizzes are short and to the point. They give you something to think about in terms of both style and color.
3. About.com has a whole set of quizzes on everything from decorating terminology to window treatments.
4. iVillage has a quiz entitled, “What’s Your Decorating Style?”
5. The Homestylist.com has another quiz to help you determine your personal decorating style.
